This Artwork is inspired by a personal favourite musician of mine Bob Dylan. When drawing this piece I spent a lot of time on the composition, the style and the overall look of the drawing. Focusing on the mid 1960s segment of Dylan's career I depicted the musician in his new found "electric" faze which branched the iconic folk singer into the genre of experimental rock and roll. After putting in much effort, time and detail the finished piece highlights Dylan in one of his greatest stages in music. The piece was drawn using a variety of Indian inks which gave me the capability to add in detailed and really fine line work in my drawing to ensure every fine line of hair, shading and texturing were included. This would make a great gift for any Dylan fan ( good for framing!), as one myself I found it difficult to find any artworks of this musician that presented a full figured form encompassing a full setting such with, instruments, microphones and an original unique art style.
