My art is a documentation of the myriad facets of my life, including relationships I have, experiments I undertake and travels I embark upon. Relationships occupy a central place within my body of work. By sewing sentimental fabric scraps together to capture narrative scenes of our humorous moments, I use the risk of exposure to lure muses like a siren. My experiments include a series of 180-degree rotating landscapes, inspired by the places I’ve visited. I also engage in meditative state painting, which gives birth to futuristic realms previously uncharted in my imagination. My travels inspire plein air drawing sessions that employ a uniquely tailored and curated color palette and technique to faithfully capture each location’s essence. With these three art practices I create my own visual vocabulary to show life in its diversity.
