About The Artwork
I am fascinated by layers and structures, by transgressing the safe flat space of a painting. Mixing painting techniques, collage and assemblage allows me to reach further and go deeper into the stories I want to tell. Time and space enclosed within a framework, but at the same time open and ready to transcend it. The Structures series is an invitation to go deeper into painting, where form and content are in symbiosis.
