“Threshold Of Fire” 2010: this installation is an attraction of feelings, moods, images, characters, surreal intricacies. The work is full of emotions and bright grotesque impulses... The work is full of emotions and bright grotesque impulses and conveys the mood of our frenzied era. The installation was created in a mixed technique, on a dense plastic base. Many unexpected details and materials were used here: acrylic fluorescent paints, spray, glitter gel, mirror, paper collage, metal micro objects, plastic and glass objects ... This is a colorful dynamic installation that was created in the legendary Midi Free studio.

Dmytro Kurovskiy was born in 1971, in Chernihiv, Ukraine. He began his artist career back in the beginning of 1990’s by taking part in concerts and exhibitions. Since 1991, he is a leader of Foa Hoka musical band. http://foahoka.com Kurovskiy works with neo-pop/psychedelic art. He enjoys experimenting with new techniques that combine art, music and abstract design. His works (graphic works, collages and design objects) are in private collections in Ukraine, Spain, Russia, Germany and the United States
