In this piece, my creative exploration is deeply influenced by Minimalism and the evocative hues of blue famously associated with Yves Klein. It marks my initial endeavour to articulate my reverence for these artistic influences. Simultaneously, the alarming issue of accumulating fashion waste propels me to engage in the practice of upcycling discarded clothing. Within this artistic narrative, I deliberately select a commonplace item, a pair of jeans, ostensibly unremarkable on its own, and elevate it to the focal point — the very object of contemplation. By introducing a rigid texture to the denim, I seek to both camouflage and integrate it into the backdrop. The vibrant blue, inspired by Klein's palette, serves as a visual expression of intensity and profundity, while simultaneously evoking a yearning for re-organization — a quiet and contemplative space amid the chaos of excess. The work aims to navigate the intersection of artistic inspiration and environmental consciousness, inviting viewers to discern beauty and meaning in the ordinary, as well as to reflect on the transformative power of intentional design.

I was born in Argentina, and my formative years were spent in Spain. For the past four years, I have lived in London. Art has always been at the core of my being, yet I prefer to have a multidisciplinary approach when it comes to my professional stance. While my initial move to London to work in fashion and art, my unwavering commitment to social and environmental justice compelled me to pursue a Master's degree in Environment, Politics, and Development. Today, I find myself standing at the intersection of art and advocacy. I'd like to channel my creative energy into addressing socio-ecological issues. I firmly believe that the creative industry can play a pivotal role as a mediator between the creative and the controversial. This commitment extends to both my artistic endeavours and my career as a whole.
