About The Artwork
Artwork by artist Norman Gekko. This design project is a continuation of the work of the artist known for his interest in recycling. The name of the brand echoes the verse from the Aeneid: “Flectere si nequeo superos Acheronta movebo” (if I cannot [subjugate] Heaven, I will stir up Hell) double reference to the verse of Virgil and to Sigmund Freud, who used it in 1899 as the epitaph of his book The Science of Dreams.
