When looking at this piece, what block are you drawn to? I am always inspired by death, death culture and life after death. Why do we wait until a loss to learn our biggest lessons? I created this pieces because grief feels like bricks on the heart. There are no soft edges to it. It’s weighted and overwhelming. When you sit in the emotional void, the pain is just on the other side and vice versa.
