About The Artwork
Bahadori has combined his spontaneous painting and digital art skills in this painting. Stained tissue paper and digitally manipulated photograph (the human figure) are collaged on a pre painted wood board with additional layers of acrylic and spray paint, plus perspective grid generated by line drafting. He leaves the interpretation of the subject matter to the viewer. However, the title "Liberation" is not only a reflection of his own perception of the end result but also the feeling has experienced throughout the process

Abol Bahadori is a prizewinning mixed-media artist based in the United States. He was born in Tabriz, the capital of Iranian Azerbaijan. As a child, he was inspired by the colorful carpets in his home. He won the "Best Young Artist" prize in the local schools at age nine. He studied art in his hometown and later in Manchester, England. Bahadori has been frequently selected by the Washington Project for Arts and The Art League, Alexandria, VA, for annual art auctions and solo shows with many best-in-show awards.
