About The Artwork
This is a toner transfer. I have been working with transfer printing for several years. I like small scale, especially working out of a small studio apartment. This is part of one of my first experiments with ceramic tile. I used old photos I have taken in BW. Most of my work involves taking photos of the environment and focusing on things that many people would overlook.

I hold a master's degree in Cultural Studies from the University of London and have studied in two PHD programs, one at the University of Kentucky in the Philosophy Department. I was trained in continental philosophy and women's studies at DePaul University Chicago, where I earned my BA in both disciplines.
