this picture was born from a game between painting and the power of the indefinite will of nature. In the processuality of the work, the artist welcomes the variation and treasures it, letting himself be guided by the signs left by the earth, by the rain, by the leaves, by the world around us. In the first phase of construction, the canvas, a "recovered" fabric, a veteran of a previous life, is buried underground, abandoned to the action of natural agents. Once unearthed, the unintended result obtained is configured as the acceptance of life and destiny that each of us undertakes to follow and design. The painting therefore enters on tiptoe following what nature has suggested. The artist does not renounce art, but applies it enriched by natural work in an attitude of listening. The work thus becomes a two-player game, a dialogue in which the artist communicates by dancing together with nature, filling a void full of possibilities with the brush.

Barbara Visciano enters the world of art following an irresistible impulse that has always been inherent in her nature, although only later expressed. At the same time as painting, she approaches photography, also thanks to the influence of a photographer friend. The human figure is central to her work as she tackles various issues such as travel, diversity, perspective or child labor. The experimentation of various techniques is the result of an interest in materials and physical processes, deriving from the passion for restoration and for the material.
