About The Artwork
This piece speaks to life and death, the path and the ending. Death is at the end of a rainbow. Rest and calm are valuable in life and we often forget that. This piece came out of a series of paintings created during the Covid-19 pandemic where death, panic, fear and the unknown consume our every thought. I was seeking solace in the composition, colors, and subject matter. Though bright and colorful, this piece is a whisper to the viewer.
