About Doria Dphrepaulezz Born in New York City. Grew up in Great Barrington, Massachusetts Spent 15 years living in Milan, Italy and Nice, France. Currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Every journey begins with an act of faith. My paintings are an endless collage of undiscovered alphabets, transparent simplicities and obscure complications. I paint in a never-ending inner search to discover new emotions and I seek to conquer my unspoken fears. Alone with paper and paint, I search within colors and shades to express the emotions that surround me. Painting is to become once again a child and meander through vibrant colors in an endless adventure.Hidden in the madness of erratic strokes is the simplicity of colors touching colors. Shapes, ideas and colors sharing the same space, diversity and tolerance. My paintings are emotions expressed in vivid colors they are abstract recreations of my poems and fairy tales.
