About The Artwork
For my first show of cutouts to thank the curator I created a cutout guest book, complete with faux pencil for the viewers to sign. Needless to say they couldn't. As an illustrator I admire the illustrators of the Golden Age and began to make cutout homages, complete with bookstand. Maxfield Parrish not only created his own blue, he set the art world on fire with color.
