About The Artwork
This piece is an original acrylic, pencil, graphite and collage on archival mat board. Layers of collage and paint have been applied with scrapers to create the effects and glowing nature of the overall work. My work is inspired by cells, abstract atmospheric light, and landscape. Using repetitive imagery such as cell structures, I create a microbiome within each piece, bringing attention to ideas of both microcosmic and macrocosmic elements. This work is about feeling vibrations around us, universes at work in constant states of chaos, while creating intimate moments of beauty within the noise. This work is framed as shown, without glass.
