About The Artwork
This series is dedicated to what the artist could call fragments of memories or portraits imprinted. Capture snapshots, freeze movements, attitudes, expressions but also capture the marks of time left on a face. Traces of life left as messages. In this series, the artist tries to find the essence, the origins, the very foundations of life. Portraits called counterprints attempt to make their way from one state to another. The face is the reflection of time that passes and that irrevocably reminds us of the reality of an ephemeral and fatal beauty.
