Since I walk every day for hours in nature, I wanted to show this on paper and watercolor paint. I wanted to let others enjoy the peace and quiet that it radiates. The white daisies in the field, it’s so restful. By using salt you get structure in the painting. signed I used this medium because it flows so nicely and I don't know which way it goes. Height 26 cm x with 36 cm. You still need to frame it.

My name is Peggy Scholte and I was born in Balikpapan (Indonesia) on 28th of May 1952. When I was 2 years old we moved to the Netherlands by boat and grew up in a little town in Noord-Brabant. When I was a child, and even now as a grown up, I could spend hours and hours with only a pencil and paper. I drew my own fantasy world, which fascinated me so much, that I forgot about the real world around me. But then the time came to grow up, so I chose a carreer in health care. In my spare time I have always been painting and creating things in a way which allowed me to put my thoughts on a canvas. Because I wanted to know more, I decided to take painting lessens from Lie van Oosterhout. She taught me about the deeper meaning behind a painting. I started with aquarelle and later worked my way into the finer oil-painting. After that Jan Michielsen, a well-known painter from Breda and Jacomijn den Engelsen from ‘De Nieuwe Veste’ in Breda, taught me to take my paintings to a higher level. Over the years I have done several competitions. In 2008 I even became first in the Talens competition in Breda. I have also appeared in many exhibitions, for example in the CODA museum in Apeldoorn and the National Art Days in Rotterdam. 3 years ago I even had my own exhibition in 'De Steenfabriek' in Gilze, the little town where my life in the Netherlands started.
