Difficult Decisions Painting

This work combines the spontaneity of a seemingly naive, childlike freedom and energy with a thoughtful and accomplished balance of structure, line and color. Thus, I aim to create a unique and distinctive work with a significant expressive, but also balanced form, in which the union of an emotional and conceptual process is present. Each of my paintings is like a playground - full of possibilities and challenges. When I paint I try to capture the key moment between the completion of the work and the intermediate process of its creation, the one that no one but me sees. For me the act of painting is essential, of what you hide and show, a reflection of the inside, and in this double act of addition and removal I am interested in what remains on the canvas upon its completion and presentation through the world and the viewer.
