About The Artwork
This is part of a series I am currently working at inspired by blurred images. The painting is very simple, yet full of meaning. There is a father and his child in thick mist. It is a father protecting and caring for his little daughter. No matter what happens around, he is there to take care of her. That's how my father has always made me feel and that's what I have tried to show in this work. Charcoal and oil on a basis of canvas glued to pressed cardboard.
