About The Artwork
I had a long talk with a homeless teenager in Baltimore and he explained to me what "tagging" was for him. He then created a tag for me and drew it. "Uneek". I didn't go out and spray paint a building but I tagged my painting. I pick up a lot of feathers when I am in Baltimore City to use for sculptural pieces and masks. The two birds atop the building reminded me of my conversation and the two of us creating my tag.
