Fulfillment Painting

Ewa Bartoszewska is a Polish self-taught painter, philosopher, hypnotherapist, traveller. Except for painting she devotes her time to writing poetry and prose. Her paintings are all in style of vision paintings, based on the explorations of the visions of the internal worlds. They're full of symbolism and oneiric nature. Most of the paintings is characterised by contrasting colours and otherworldly characters, as well as oftentimes psychedelic surrealism. The inspiration is the world beyond consciousness - dreams, hypnosis, meditation, subconsciousness. Despite the positive overtone of the majority of the paintings, in each of them there is a dark undertone included, symbolising a dark side of a human mind and experience. The painter feels the best in nature and among animals, as well as while exploring different cultures when traveling.
