I am inspired in this painting by the artist Jodi Ohl. She has a complex sense of design and line and is incredibly creative. My painting is suggestive of the deep earth image I have in my mind, as you create cross sections of the ground I think you would find patterns, lines, and designs like this. Maybe fantasy, maybe not!

I am so fortunate to be an artist. I have the privilege to express myself through paint, pencils, and other tools in mostly abstract painting. I find inspiration in nature, particularly in the way light lights objects, shines through things, and gives life our glow. I also bring alot of color into my work and enjoy how color and line bring energy to a painting. I was awarded my biggest honor so far in 2021 when I received Signature Status in the National Watercolor Society with my painting "Dialogue." I live in a rural area outside of Houston, Texas and enjoy our life with my husband, our grown children, grandchildren, and our dog Mia. We count our blessings every day.
