About The Artwork
I first wanted to call this small painting an unfinished abstract painting. It was a mix of pink and gray tones. Like clouds or liquid spreading across the bare canvas. Afterwards I provided the natural shapes with rectangles. Each rectangle has the color that is most common in that spot. By applying the rectangles it almost feels like cultivating nature. This effect is enhanced by leaving part of the canvas unpainted. This is wild nature, not yet cultivated and without destination.
