Homecoming Painting

 I was born in 1975 in Ankara in Turkey. I am an architect. After my professional life in the public and private sectors, I continue my career as a freelance architect.  However, I have been continuing my painting work since 2019.  Mainly; abstract and figurative I am working.  I also do artistic furniture painting. I've been dreaming since I was a kid. Especially in recent years, with the introduction of meditation into my life, I started to feel a great desire to paint the scenes that appeared in my mind. And finally I experienced that breaking point and met paints and brushes. Painting for me is freedom! With the brush in my hand, I see myself dancing with colors, flying, swinging on swings hanging from the clouds. Impossibility disappears and I can become anything I want. Above all, I am in love with colors; Sometimes I waltz in a ballroom with thousands of shades of blue, green, orange, purple, and sometimes I skate on the ice rink. This is the best way to express myself freely! Whatever my mood is, I take the canvas, paints and brushes in front of me and allow whatever comes to me at that moment, dip the brush into the paint and then let it flow on the canvas. What to start with at the end I don't think it will come out. Brushstrokes and colors guide me and see where as I look. I decide what I want to achieve, I don't force myself for anything. I move forward with satisfaction in every moment of it, and when I decide it's over, I get great pleasure. Being an architect as my profession, I have always taken part in this process and helped me with the education and experience I have gained is showing the way. Painting is an exciting adventure from start to finish! A form of purification and meditation. Abstract the biggest factor in my choice of style is being able to express what I feel in my own language. Same again to be able to coincide with the language of the viewer with that work.
