About The Artwork
I have always been fascinated by the Sicilian tradition of the storytellers/singers narrating the epic deeds of Charlemagne Paladins. They are often represented on the side panels of traditional Sicilian wagons. I have revisited one of these stories framed as if in a panel. Orlando and Rinaldo have finally found peace. The Medusa head is one of Sicily’s symbols.

After graduating with a M.S. in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino, she began her career in Italy at a Product Design Firm, and then moved to Pubblisintesi, a leading Italian advertising agency, where she served as Art Director. Only after moving to the US she was able to paint full time.
