A bright, lively Abstract Expressionist work. Created while listening to binaural beats and brain wave synchronization music. The artist goes into what she calls 'the Zone' and many curious structures and shapes begin to form. In this case, the color palette was laid out first and after the underpainting was complete, the fun began. In early college the artist was a Mathematics major fascinated by Calculus, Linear Algebra, Geometry and Quantum Psychics. Triangles and shapes reminiscent of alien spacecrafts seem to be in her blood. More and more images emerge upon further investigation and viewing. The work lets her know when it's complete and what its name is. The whole experience is organic. In some cases, ecstatic states are attained without the use of any mind-altering substances and body fluids such as tears end up mixed into the paint and on the canvas. Occasionally Young Living Essential oils are also used. The artist's goal is to give the viewer a measurable experience just from looking at the painting.

As a young child I won a gold medal for a drawing of a dog. My father and I used to draw together. I graduated from Montclair State University and did take some art classes there, however, that was not my major. I am mostly self taught. I began painting seriously in 2000 and in 2009 I was in a 4 state competition with thousands of aritsts in a museum. I won First Place in Painting oil/acrylics. The juror was the previous director of the Guggenheim so this was quite an honor!
