About The Artwork
I live in a beautiful region of the world. Lush, wild, fresh, clean, natural and free – Vancouver Island. We have some of the best ocean diving in the world, a healthy population of birds and wildlife. This painting is part reality and part fantasy. In my eyes it is home – paradise. It was challenging to photograph this, as the under painting is layered in a thick coat of gloss, and the white sits delicately on top adding to the depth and interest. It is a painting that needs to be experienced. Edge painted, wired and ready to hang.
