Light in seasons in life… “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17) I’m in love with programing languages/code and timeless messages. The code in here has something to do with stars… The work is also a reflection of my last ten years of creative journey; combining techniques and images, photography, encaustic from the series of [Stars and Desert] and [Beyond Time and Space] and integrated all in one piece. AND this is also new challenge and experimental piece because I am using plexiglass (in stead of wood that I usually use) as substrate for encaustic. So, the Light (Luz) coming through…. Light shines through a painting on plexiglass. The combination of the translucent encaustic wax and transparent plexiglass create mysterious luminous work. -You can enjoy it both on the wall like a regular 2-demential art and place on the table (See the photos).
