Butterflies are inspiring, wherever I go they somehow always seem to find me, or I am finding them. The butterfly is considered a symbol of change, joy and color. The butterfly was considered a miracle of transformation and resurrection. 'Related to the power of personal transformation. Finding a butterfly is the sign of the transition from a previous life to a new life, from a state of ignorance to a state of awareness, from a difficult life to a better life.' In many of my paintings you can find them, because for me they also symbolize the difference between what is real and what is not. However, butterflies will land on anything or anyone regardless of color, so while they land on a painting it seems as if they are saying, take your time and look at what is on the painting and try to understand it. I am hoping that you as a viewer of my art will take your time and find your own thoughts about my creations. I try to take the main theme, in this case the butterfly and let my mind go freely talking about the backgrounds. This style is one I haven't used that often, but once I do I receive a lot of positive reactions, it is modernism, abstract, combined with the realism of the butterfly. I am using a special technique which makes the butterfly fly, once you are up close to this painting. There are also effects with some of the colors from the background, that will light up at night time. There are 5 of these paintings that I have available for sale at this moment, This first one I created has the background color Yellow.
