Newborn Stars Painting

Tiago Sunday's art frequently addresses nature in its various forms: watercourses, cloud constellations, simple clusters of trees; but also other less obvious facets such as microbiology and, in a different sense, the immensity of the cosmos. Thus, birth at the cellular level can go hand in hand with the immense birth of a star. There is, therefore, a concern about the events that sustain human reality. Events that already existed before Science, before the “straight line that offends the universe” as Oscar Niemeyer stated. Thus, his painting is not ancient or modern in essence, it is before the century and beyond it. Here, time does not exist, since it is repetition multiplied in eternity. The artist was born in Lisbon in 1976 and has a degree in Art History, Interior Design and Architecture. An avid reader, passionate about European Medieval History, he collects centuries-old books, old postcards, photos and letters, and second-hand objects that he digs at flea markets in Europe.
