Oh Happy Day Painting

I was fascinated by the contrast between the natural and artificial elements in the scene. I saw a bouquet of a simple red and yellow flower and a vase on a table outside of a cafe. I decided to recreate it when I got home and paint it with bold and contrasting colors to emphasize its beauty and uniqueness. I used a bold red and yellow for the flowers and green and blue for the vase. I painted the background with a dark turquoise blue and blended greens to create a contrast with a bright and vivid foreground. I wanted to show the harmony and disharmony between the flower and its surroundings and how it stood out from the crowd. I hope to inspire the viewers of my painting to appreciate the diversity and creativity of nature.
