pseudonym: Dēchy on insta: dechypainting I was born in Slovakia in 1984. Since my childhood, I have been interested in Painting, but since it went against the conventional expectations of those around me, it was for me a very long time just an activity that I only did for myself, for my pleasure. I studied economics, translation and interpreting and gave up art, but a few years ago I came to the mind that I would like to interpret through the one for everyone unique “Universal language”; art. This is the short story about how I found the way back to painting and took private lessons to improve myself. The world of fashion, the bright colors and motifs of textiles, a lot of travelling, colorfulness from different cultures of the world enchanted and inspired me. For me, it is important that during my euphoric meditative activity, I create more than just “a picture„. I really want to say something with it and arouse emotions. I want to show that it is not just black or white; beautiful or ugly does not exist. Equilibrium is everywhere in the world, even if you don’t see it. Both poles (sides) have to support each other to understand and to be able to interpret the language of art-The Harmony.
