I had a lot of fun creating this dramatic painting with its bold colors but also more pastel shades merging and mingling. The stairway reminds me of the entrance and exit to a theatre where the dressing rooms and offstge behind the scenes activities go on.

Growing up in Punta Gorda, Florida where everything was on the water, water skiing, swimming, fishing and most of the streets are still made of brick, my childhood was a very happy one with no shortage of friends in our neighborhood.. My expressive subjects are primarily figures and abstracts as well as interiors, landscapes and still lifes. I love combining vibrant colors with a rhythmical movement in my compositions
