About The Artwork

I wanted to show intimacy between partners. I wanted to intimacy in many forms, from the man and woman supporting each other and creating balance. I chose flowers to show beauty in sex and how sex is a very important part of nature. The man and woman are in the same tone of skin to make it seem like they are becoming one with each other. The bright colors I used to show the ecstasy of the moment. The paint has been watered down to show motion, climax of the moment and colors bleeding together. The medium of this painting is an acrylic painting in different forms such as air brush, water pouring, and traditional brush. Hanging hardware is included, all materials are top of the line, gallery quality canvas, and the best of acrylic paints.

Jason “Sundiata” Hayth is  a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, Jason dealt with the struggle of fitting in, being bi-racial and moving all over the country throughout elementary and middle school. He dealt with his struggles and awkwardness through art and sports. He always had a love for art, however sports were at the forefront of his passion. This passion led him to be able to be a great athlete, who participated in two sports in college. Jason ran track and played football at Western Illinois University. Although he was a strong athlete, his dream of becoming a professional athlete came to an end after he sustained multiple injuries. The demands of the rigorous sports were too much for his body to uphold. He struggled after his sports career ended, and wondered what path he would take next in life. He ended up enrolling in the US Navy. His time in the navy taught him a lot, but most importantly what he wanted out of his life. This drove him into the direction to do what he loved, art! Jason had not created any art for over 10 years, until his daughter came into his world. He was inspired to pick up a brush again to make something for his daughter for her birthday. His passion for art was rekindled through his daughter, friends, and family. Jason’s diverse background of being bi-racial, growing up in many places, ex-athlete, traveler, veteran and father had taught him one of the most important lessons of life. He knew he no longer needed to fit into one category, and his diversity is what made him who he was. He learned his strongest attribute is that he can relate to just about anyone, which opened his world and mind to many cultures, types of people, and experiences. It has given him a mission, as an artist, to inspire deeper connection with his audience, to evoke emotion, and to use his talent to spread his message to all people. His goal is to inspire those to fully live in their purpose, and seek beauty in all things, people and colors. He wants those around him to reach their greatness in whatever it is they love to do. His diverse life experiences influence much of his creative process and work. His artwork reflects the reality of his struggle, diverse background and his desire for you to get to know him through his artwork.
