About The Artwork
I titled the work "Primavera" beacuse of its richness of colors and forms of life, that seemed to be constantly emerging during the painting process. It was inspired by life forms such as lichen, bacteria, moss. Forms that appear seemingly out of nowhere and overgrow any available surface. I like drawing as much as painting, therefore I use paint mixed with acrylic markers. They allow me to paint and draw at the same time.

I am forever in love with the simples black and white compositions by Ellsworth Kelly. It's as if they reveal the fundamental truth, stripped bear of anything else, about life and death. We are here and then we disappear. In my drawings and paintings I like to be surprised by where the dots and lines take me. Practicing being focused, receiving, respectful of what comes, yet being on a verge of complete surrender.
