the sacred is symbolized by a Madonna, an icon of Christian and Western religion. This representation of the Virgin is also a self-portrait of the artist. It confronts us with two worlds which oppose each other by their dominating power: one really Sacred and forgotten by man: that of nature and the other, sacred by man: all these new technologies on which he depends and which takes him away from nature. She uses the Virgin, symbol of purity and respect, to lead us to reflect on these issues of the environmental and humanitarian future. In this work, the Madonna transmits, protects a saving, pure nature, source of life and energy connecting man to the earth: the Virgin no longer having a child next to her, but a penetrating and bewitching.

Born in 1979, Héloïse Bonin lives and works in Haute-Vienne in France. She studied at the school of applied arts in La Souterraine and then at the National School of Decorative Arts in Limoges. She obtained the encouragement of the DRAC by obtaining in 2010 and in 2013 a scholarship to aid creation. Héloïse works in series, imbued with her personal and professional life. First of all her work of painting on plywood: she paints in acrylic and mixes various paper collages in order to create surreal worlds (Interiors series, Remixes) or conversely, very realistic (portraits of teenagers , selfie). These series are intended to be "out of time" with the omnipresence of a sofa that invites us to contemplate, to take the time. They also have a somewhat bitter look at a disenchanted world: courageous exiles and portraits of adolescents in search of meaning. Then her inked plant prints that she makes on papers of different textures: highlighting the finesse of the lines of shapes, textures, plant elements that become purely graphic and poetic. This work in symbiosis with nature is often embellished with sound performances, videos and installations.
