About The Artwork
This a portrait of the fictional main characters of the feature screenplay I wrote for an animated feature series. The story is about a soldier who is sent abroad to fight a war against an army of evil wolf creatures in the land of Europa. In his travel he meets a calico kitten that will never leave his side, then the love of life, Saddie, portrayed here. They will be torn apart by the war but their love and will to survive will conquer all. I work mainly with watercolors, this one was mounted on a wooden board. These illustrations are part of creating an entire world and a beautiful story along with it.
