Skinny Shaming Painting

Mike Schuetz is an artist/designer who lives and works in Waco, Texas Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the golden age of the town's manufacturing industry, Schuetz grew up in a nurturing, loving family. Being part of the TV generation, and influenced by cartoons, comix, Mad Magazine, skateboarding, and punk music, Schuetz's work is a melting pot of all these influences. ​Schuetz's work consists of digital design, digital prints, paintings, and drawings. While similarities are found in all the work, individually each piece pushes new platforms, and new directions- reinventing and working in the spirit of Mad Magazine and 80's skateboard design. Liberated, weird, and OTHER, there is no need for explanation or didactics.
