Searching for my inner safe haven I invite you to peek into Berlin's International Congress Center to discover the unique peacefulness and otherworldly impression of yesterday’s future. 1970’s high-tech architecture communicates structure and function transparently through its interior and exterior. To translate this transparency into my paintings I flood my canvases with its colors and complex intersections, revealing my most personal tropical beach. As the canvas is mounted on a stretcher with extra depth (4,5cm) and its edges are also neatly painted, the painting does not require a frame.
