Abhishek Pandey is a sculptor based in Pune, Maharashtra, with roots in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Banaras Hindu University. Abhishek's artistic journey is characterized by a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary exploration, reflecting his deep reverence for cultural heritage and innovative vision. He has honed his skills through diverse experiences, including a two-year apprenticeship with renowned artist Prabhakar Pachpute, where he gained invaluable insights and techniques that continue to inform his practice. In addition to his artistic mentorship, Abhishek benefits from a long-term mentorship with curator Lina Vincent. Under her guidance, he has streamlined his working process, enhancing his ability to conceptualize and execute projects with precision and depth.
