Those Eyes Painting

Story behind this painting: Eventhough it is my dream and ultimate goal to become a full-time artist, I still paint while keeping my full-time job. I painted this painting in 2013 when I had almost 3 months of free time, since international company I worked for at the time, went to some major organizational chages and my position was terminated. I used that time to paint and create 8-12 hours a day. Painting "Those eyes" reflects my view on that particular situation. I worked in sales and my results were great, but still I felt like I was dumped like a trash. I was dissapointed, insulted, angry. I'm not going to get into details, but bottom line is that some people are able to look you in your eyes and lie. That's why I painted them bloody. Materials used: * Original handmade painting on gallery style canvas. READY TO HANG! * Title: Those Eyes * Year created: 2013 * Dimensions: 67" x 24" (170cm x 60cm), gallery style canvas, 1,6" (4cm) thick, edges are finished - painted black. It comes unframed, but ready to hang. * Medium: Highest quality artist acrylic paint (Liquitex, Golden). * Materials used: Top quality Gesso primed 360g/m2 canvas, streched on A-class wooden underframe. * 3-way protection: Acrylic varnish (2 coats gloss, 1 coat satin). * Hanging hardware: Strong hanging wire is already attached, painting is ready to hang. * The painting is signed in lower front corner. * Signed "Certificate of Authenticity" with all relevant information comes with the painting. I do not want the viewer to look at this painting as a result of a negative story. Any painting can have a positive impact, no matter what's the story behind it. Like in life, every bad thing can have a positive impact on sometnig else. So maybe, view this work like a reminder. Stay honest, be positive.
