Inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the idea of the Universe consisting of a turtle on top of a turtle that's on top of another turtle and "turtles all the way down". This painting is a turtle holding a snake or worm and he's coming to terms that he will someday be eaten by this even though he is the larger creature.
