Unipus Painting

Luke Margetts is a Fine Artist working in Somerset UK. Having found his passion for art in 2013 he has been sharing his imagination through his artwork, whilst continuing to develop his technical knowledge. Although he had no formal education in art he achieved his Foundation Degree then a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art graduating with Honours in 2019 and will gain a Masters / PHD in due time. An insatiable desire to learn has seen his pieces grow in complexity, showing true progression in his learning. Luke works with different themes and concepts, everything from landscapes and people to esoterics and mythological stories, for him the beauty of art is in attempting to understand the art. Which is why he does not explain the meaning behind the individual artworks created, the interpretation is left up to the viewer and their unique perception of the piece. Art is a focus for his creativity which motivates him to share the works created, as he wants to spend his life mastering painting and drawing techniques. Expanding his skillset is crucial to him as he can use them to help inform and potentially educate others while following his dreams creating art.
