About The Artwork
The painting is loosely based upon a vintage photograph I came across online, of people climbing the side of Cheops on the Giza Plataue. I've been painting with oils for 16 years now and I believe this to be my best painting yet. I hope to invoke a sense of intruige and mystery with the viewer, which is only really effective when seen in person, mounted to a wall. Above your fireplace perhaps. Or in a nice hallway.
