This is a very childlike spontaneous abstract painting on watercolor paper. I had fun playing with the two shades of blue , painting shapes with a brush and making marks with a palette knife. I tried not to overthink my playful movements and the result is a whimsical spontaneity.

Growing up in Punta Gorda, Florida where everything was on the water, water skiing, swimming, fishing and most of the streets are still made of brick, my childhood was a very happy one with no shortage of friends in our neighborhood.. My expressive subjects are primarily figures and abstracts as well as interiors, landscapes and still lifes. I love combining vibrant colors with a rhythmical movement in my compositions
