In this project, I transformed lyrics from various musicians into vibrant, surrealistic artworks. Each piece features the musician as the central character, surrounded by a world I meticulously crafted to mirror the essence of their song. By designing and building the backgrounds and props, I aimed to bring the lyrics to life, creating a visual representation that captures the spirit of the music. This series is my way of blending audio and visual art, offering a new perspective on how we can experience and interpret music. This photo was created for the song "Speak out now" by Oh Land: „Watching it all over my shoulder, until the masquerade's over."

Amelie Satzger is an award winning photo artist and art director originally from Munich. Her photographs reveal an artfully-arranged visual world, whose motifs often include autobiographical reflections. Inspired by books, lyrics, and words in total, she is able to abstract and visualize them into new artworks.
