About The Artwork

Dawn over the mountains of southern Brazil shows nature with exuberant colors, everything becomes more colorful and warmer. The first rays of sun, have a very strong incidence of red, this region of Cima da Serra Gaucha, South of Brazil, has colors and shapes that resemble PATAGONIA, it is no coincidence that all the regions closest to the extreme south have this incidence of red, especially in the first rays of the sun. The human being and the environment are a complementary and mimetic symbiosis, we can also talk about camouflage, they are forms of nature present in fauna and flora, we humans can always delight in this moment of total synchronicity and continue enjoying the power of living in harmony. Among his projects is Elemental, a photographic-artistic record that involves the human element with concepts of fauna and flora. -Elemental, man and the environment, shows the integration of fauna, flora and humanity, in a respect for nature and the need for conservation of the environment. -Transcendental Surreal, a mixture of images, with collages, assemblies and some fusions in Photoshop, to create a parallel, utopian world. All photos used are by Marcus. -Body Way, a project entirely photographed on BW negative film, photographed in 2002. Today, in 2023, it is being produced after digitizing the negatives in high resolution for large prints on fine art paper. Marcus Luconi, 1953, Santa Rosa, RS, Brazil.
