I had the opportunity to work with the model who had recently moved to Minnesota from Havana. The image is that of a veiled nude, her face modestly covered preserving her privacy if only just. The pose is strong and confident creating in this work the duality of the human condition. We are all naked to the world, exposed. And yet we go to some effort to preserve a shred of privacy. We are all veiled in some way.
