"Dance of Time" is not just a visual representation of movement and change; it is a deeply personal and philosophical reflection on the nature of time and its impact on our lives. Each painting in the series contains elements that reflect the fundamental aspects of human existence: moments of joy and sorrow, success and failure, struggle and peace. These elements interact, creating a rich and multi-layered composition that encourages the viewer to reflect on their own life journey. The use of bright colors and geometric shapes emphasizes the contrasts and harmony present in every person's life. The silhouettes depicted in the paintings serve as a metaphor for our inner selves, constantly changing under the influence of external and internal factors. "Dance of Time" invites the viewer on a journey through their own experiences, allowing them to see the beauty and complexity of the life path through the lens of abstract art. Traveling in abstraction, postmodernist, figurative, expressive and neorealist genres, the artist-musician-composer, Hayk Grigoryan discovered his artistic abilities during the difficult time of pandemic and war. In this isolation, uncertainty and idleness, the artist redefined himself when paper and gouache suddenly appeared in his hand. The uncertainty and stillness of life turned into discovery and new world of art. 150 canvases later, his creations are like his music: bright improvisations of delicate emotional balance with rhythmic and stormy transitions and intelligent presentation. With the trumpet in one hand and the brush in the other, Hayk re-creates colorful melody by crystallizing reality. Presented in the permanent collection of the Yerevan Modern Art Museum On this page, I also present two of my talented friends, with whom we work in the same studio. Artists Knarik Nersisyan and Mushegh Barseghyan.
