About The Artwork
Creative concept: People's Daily and local newspapers are subject to strict official censorship. People's sources of information are filtered and distorted, and their thoughts are controlled. If things go on like this, they lose their ability to distinguish reality and think independently, and become appendages of the ruling class. I used 60 newspapers as a medium to sculpt different portraits. The figures have different shapes, but they have only one thought and one way of behavior. This is the masterpiece of the rulers and our sorrow.
