About The Artwork
My ferruginous duck sculpture was inspired by time spent in the Doñana national park which is not far from where I live in the south of Spain. Here I have been able to observe and photograph the wildlife. I have used a colourful patina to represent the colours of the ferruginous duck and simple lines to represent it´s elegance. The sculpture is about lifesize and could be suited to either an indoor or an outdoor setting.

I am a British artist living in the south of Spain. I live near the Doñana national park where I am able to photograph and observe wildlife, this has been the inspiration for many of my sculptures. Others have been private commisions. I love travelling which provides me with inspiration for future projects. I am particularly interested in South American countries because I have some South American heritage.
